League of Women Voters Austin Area Releases Voters Guide for May 3 Local Election
AUSTIN, TX — The League of Women Voters Austin Area (LWV-AA) is proud to announce the release of its nonpartisan Voters Guide for the upcoming Saturday, May 3, 2025, Joint General and Special Election. This essential resource is now available in English and Spanish, to help voters across the Austin area make informed decisions at the ballot box.
The Voters Guide includes candidate information, ballot initiatives, and critical voting deadlines. It is designed to empower every eligible voter with facts — not endorsements — in keeping with the League’s long-standing mission to empower voters and defend democracy.

Texas law prohibits the use of mobile electronic devices in the voting booth — but you can bring a printed copy of the Voters Guide or your selections from VOTE411.org. Review the guide, make your selections, and print them to take with you when you vote.
