League of Women Voters Austin Area Releases
Voters Guide for May 3 Local Election


The League of Women Voters Austin Area is proud to announce the release of its nonpartisan Voters Guide for the upcomingJoint General and Special Electionon Saturday, May 3, 2025. This essential resource is available in both English and Spanish to help voters across the Austin area make informed decisions at the ballot box.


TheVoters Guideincludes candidate information, ballot initiatives, and critical voting deadlines. It is designed to empower every eligible voter with facts -- not endorsements -- in keeping with the League’s long-standing mission to empower voters and defend democracy.

Your vote will help decide city leadership, school boards, and key policies.

Local electionsare being held in the following communities:Bee Cave,Cedar Park, Georgetown, Hutto, Lakeway, Leander, Liberty Hill, Round Rock, Taylor, and West Lake Hills.School boardmembers/trustees are on the ballot inEanes ISD,Lake Travis ISD,Liberty Hill ISD,Pflugerville ISD, andTaylor ISD.Note that several Municipal Utility Districts (MUD) and other districts may be on your ballot which are not covered in ourVoters Guide.

Find your ballot at your county election website: VoteTravis.gov or wilcotx.gov/elections.

Voter Tip:Texas law prohibits the use of mobile electronic devices in the voting booth -- but you can bring a printed copy of theVoters Guideor your selections from VOTE411.org. Review the guide, make your selections, and print them or write them down to take with you when you vote.


Early voting begins on Tuesday, April 22 and ends on Tuesday, April 29.  Election Day is Saturday, May 3.

Let your voice be heard! Be informed. Be ready. And vote!
