Voters Guide goes live on Feb. 6

LWVAA Voters Guide for the March 3 primary election available February 6

Before early voting for the March 3 primary election begins, LWVAA will release its nonpartisan Voters Guide. Beginning February 6, voters can access the Guide online in English and Spanish at lwvaustin.org/Voters-Guide, and see a personalized Voters Guide at VOTE411.org. Copies of the printed Voters Guide will be found inserted in The Austin Chronicle on February 6 and distributed to libraries, HEB stores, and other sites across the Austin area.

Read the full press release here.

🚨 We need your help delivering the Voters Guide to our community 🚨

Copies of our Voters Guide don't magically appear in the community -- they get there because people like you lend a hand. If you can drive, lift a box, or rally a friend, this is your moment! 💪🗳️

We need volunteers to help distribute the LWV Voters Guide this Friday, February 6!

📍 Pick up: ACES A/C Supply Warehouse, 1810 Rutherford Ln
🚗 Then: Deliver Guides to local distribution sites across Austin

👉 Sign up here to deliver to one or more distribution sites.

There are concerns that the use of these cameras may lead to the increased unjust criminalization of communities of color and unhoused neighbors in Austin. LWVAA has joined other local organizations in advocating against the implementation of these cameras. Learn more here.

🗣️  Help Launch the LWVAA Speakers Bureau

The Speakers Bureau will educate and inform the public about voting and voting-related issues. Frankly, at this point, it’s never been more important! We’ll also increase public understanding about the League and its mission while building relationships with other community organizations. In addition to speakers, we need volunteers to train presenters, to help and maintain our presentation library, and to coordinate speaker requests. You can learn more here.

Interested? Complete this short survey to let us know where you'd like to help. We'll add you to the invitation list for our kickoff meeting later this month.

Defending Democracy

Provide feedback on the City of Austin 2026 Bond

Attend the 2026 Bond Open House meetings

During the month of February, staff will conduct 2026 Bond Open House engagement activities, including a second survey, to inform Austinites about proposed bond projects and gather feedback that will help shape final recommendations to the City Council and the Mayor.
