We've partnered with 20+ Central Texas Schools to offer voter registration.

Empowering the Next Generation of Voters

The LWV registers students to vote in coordination with Travis County Voter Registrar, and Travis County Clerk offices. Plus we encourage students to begin lifelong civic participation. We address student-specific concerns, equipping them with the voting knowledge and nonpartisan resources they need before casting their first vote.

Did you know Texas schools are required by state law to offer voter registration to high school seniors twice a year? LWV helps you meet these obligations with a Civics 101 course and voter registration.

Adapted to Fit Your Needs
This flexible program can be tailored to fit your school's needs, with full or shortened presentations followed by onsite voter registration. Trained Volunteer Deputy Registrars (VDRs) lead the sessions and help students with voting related questions.
